Thulhaadhoo Young Eagle Sports (TYES) has been developing footballers, handball players, swimmers and community athletes on the island since 1996 — one youth program at a time.
From the beach pitches of the 1990s to national handball courts today, Young Eagle runs age-grouped teams and community programs across multiple sports.
Our founding sports — champion of the very first tournament we entered, and still the heartbeat of the club.
The first handball academy on any island outside Kulhudhuffushi City — now Division 2 champions in both Men's and Women's.
Our newest program — and already on the podium, with gold and silver at the Division 1 Men's national tournament.
Free football coaching for children in Male' and Thulhaadhoo — because talent shouldn't depend on ability to pay.
Founded in November 1996 by Ahmed Anees, Ibrahim Atheef and Ahmed Shifan, Young Eagle won its first tournament in December 1997 and has been defeated only three times since. Registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs in August 2006, we've grown into a multi-sport NGO running youth academies, women's programs, and national-level teams.
